Ali Amini

Ali is an immigration and criminal lawyer. He provides advice and assistance with various immigrant and criminal matters and regularly appears before different tribunals and boards including the Ontario's Superior Court, the Immigration and Refugee Board as well as the Federal Court of Canada.

Community Involvement

Ali is the Coach and the Sponsor of the Shahin Soccer Club. He has devoted much of his spare time to this initiative which is designed to engage youth in sports. Ali is also an avid soccer player and trains horses for equestrian show jumping competitions. He has also competed professionally in equestrian competitions.

Credentials and Awards

Ali received his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa and his Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Economics and Political Science) from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Ontario Bar.

While at law school, Ali was awarded the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt award of Highest Achievement in Advanced Business Law offered jointly by the University of Ottawa and the law firm of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt.

Ali is fluent in both Farsi and Turkish.
