Samantha Nessan

Practice Areas

Samantha joined the firm in 2007 as a summer student.  Upon her graduation in 2008, she returned to Heydary Hamilton to complete her articles of clerkship.

As a law student with the firm, Samantha has assisted our lawyers in all aspects of civil litigation and commercial/corporate matters including: entertainment law, contractual disputes, copyright, and franchise litigation.

Credentials

Samantha completed the LL.B. program at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008.  While at Osgoode Hall, Samantha was an active member of the Pro Bono Students of Canada’s Family Law Project.

Samantha holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto (2003) where she completed a double major in political science and criminology.

Samantha has experience in American civil litigation.  She interned at the Office of the Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department at the Bronx Borough Tort Division.      

Samantha is conversant in Aramaic.
